Special Situation Funding

AssetStone provides funding to corporate borrowers requiring a specialist funding solution. Our experience has shown that even the highest covenant borrower can find themselves in a unique and most likely, complex situation which can result in their funding needs falling outside of most lenders’ criteria. We understand that external factors can impact the credit worthiness of a project and we believe it is our job to find solutions for our borrowers.

Our process

Step 1

The Enquiry

Get started in touch by calling our office, emailing us, completing the online form to request information, or asking for an expert to contact you when it’s convenient to discuss your  financing needs.

Step 2

We understand the sensitive nature to distressed situations and treat each case with the upmost confidentiality. Please request a NDA agreement or send us your own before exchange sensitive data.

Step 3

Term Sheet

Once we have received details of the opportunity we will assess it both internally and with our institutional funding partners to ensure the transaction is viable. We will issue a Term Sheet which will require a signature and a commitment fee which is non-refundable subject to terms and conditions.

Step 4

DD, Valuation and Legals

Our team will carefully appraise every aspect of the transaction and instruct RICS surveyors before completing a full due diligence pack required for final credit submission. We will instruct solicitors to prepare all loan and any other required security and joint venture documentation. Borrowers remain liable for all legal and valuation costs incurred.

Step 5

Funds released

Once our solicitors have confirmed we are in a position to complete, funds will be requested and take up to 3 working days to arrive at which point completion can happen immediately.
